Sound advice

Our Business Team offers a level of expertise normally only found in major commercial centres. We specialise in a wide range of business matters, advising clients from sole traders and family firms to public companies. Our advice is based on our understanding the nature of each client’s needs and their particular requirements.

Setting up a business

We can assist on setting up a business from the outset.  We offer advise on the appropriate business structure (whether it be sole trader, partnership, limited liability partnership or company) and where necessary can prepare partnership and shareholders agreements.

Acquisitions and disposals

Our Business Team advise on business acquisitions and disposals. Clients benefit from our experience in management buyouts, share sales and purchases, franchise agreements and business restructuring arrangements.

Occupation and commercial premises

We provide advice on all areas relating to the use and occupation of commercial premises, including the negotiation and renewal of leases.

When needed we can carefully prepare and word contracts and agreements and we advise on and deal with them too. We can also advise on trading terms and conditions that are appropriate to our client’s business.
