Once again Foskett Marr Gadsby & Head were privileged to be part of the Bancroft’s School Higher Education and Careers Fair. Universities and businesses exhibited at The careers Fair which was attended by Bancroft’s U4, 5th and Sixth Form pupils and also welcomed pupils from their partnership and local state schools; Drapers’ Academy, Sir George Monoux Sixth Form, Woodford County High School for Girls, Leyton Sixth Form College, Trinity High School, St Paul’s Way Trust School, Chingford Foundation School and Roding Valley High School. The Fair also enabled the students to look at multiple career and university courses.
The Careers Fair proved very popular amongst pupils from all age groups who were interested to learn about a career within Law. Foskett Marr Gadsby & Head were able to provide valuable as to the different areas of law and legal services we provide. We were able to give student the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about our line of work. Our Trainee Solicitors and Paralegals gave valuable advice and their first-hand experience into their journey into Law and gave information on how other students with similar interests can do the same.
Foskett Marr Gadsby & Head have always offered and encouraged work experience placements. At Bancroft’s School Higher Education and Careers Fair we had a high amount of interest from pupils seeking work experience at our firm!
It was a great opportunity for the firm to engage with the students, particularly those who were in interested in a career in law, to discuss careers in law and to answer any questions they had.
