Employment is a Risky Business – Can you afford to make a mistake?

Foskett Marr Gadsby & Head LLP are holding a seminar on 18th March 2014 and would be delighted if you or any of your contacts would like to attend.

The seminar will be ideal for any business owners, or HR managers who want to ensure they are fully up to date with recent developments in Employment Law.

In the current economic climate, with more businesses needing to make adjustments to their staffing levels, the instances of claims for unfair dismissal, constructive dismissal and discrimination are increasing. This can create a significant cost  that a business can ill afford.

The seminar will cover a number of practical elements including:

  • Pre-emptive advice for business owners on employment law handbooks and staff contracts, and
  • A ‘mock’ disciplinary hearing showing how to correctly deal with employee/employer workplace issues.

The seminar is free and will be presented by Richard Gordon one of our Employment/Litigation Lawyers, in conjunction with Employment Law Barristers from 36 Bedford Row Chambers (London).

Date: 18 March 2014 at Epping Hall, St Johns Road, Epping, Essex CM16 5JU

Time: 6 – 8pm – with drinks and nibbles from 5.30pm

RSVP:  ninasnelling@foskettmarr.co.uk
