Sarah Tsindides

Sarah is a Senior Associate Solicitor with more than 20 years’ experience in all areas of family law. Clients can be confident they are in safe and capable hands.

With a wealth of experience representing a wide range of clients, dealing with all aspects of relationship breakdown, from high-value cases and complex financial issues through to disputes over childcare arrangements.

Sarah’s expertise combined with a sensitive and empathic approach helps support and steer her clients through what can be very a stressful time. Wherever possible Sarah works to agree a settlement that avoids conflict but, if not possible, she has a formidable track record providing robust representation in court proceedings.

Recent highlights include
• Advising and representing a number of clients during divorce/finances, which involve complex high net value assets/business assets that require valuation (forensic accounting), tax issues and property portfolios both in the UK and abroad and achieving successful outcomes for those clients, including costs orders when necessary.

• Pursuing successful schedule 1 application pursuant to children act and at final hearing (on behalf of the mother) where the court awarded financial provision to the client for the benefit of the children during their minority and an order for costs against the Father.

• Representing a number of clients during divorce/finances where extensive pension portfolios arise, involving instructions of an expert actuary and pension sharing order/offsetting to allow one party to retain the family home.

• Representing a client during negotiations to vary a financial remedy order and achieving successful variation by agreement and successfully representing clients prior to issue of a variation application and through these proceedings.

• Representing a number of wives during divorce/financial remedy proceedings and successfully achieving a maintenance pending suit order for interim spousal maintenance, in addition to a legal services order obtained against the husband, and an order for costs.

• Acting for several fathers and mothers in separate proceedings during complex children act proceedings where allegations of domestic abuse against the other party, involving complex fact-finding hearings and to determine what arrangements are in the best interest of the children. This has also included where illegal substances and alcohol are involved.

• Sarah has a proven track record for resolving a number of co-habitation/property disputes successfully by agreement to prevent clients from incurring substantial legal costs and without needing to issue court proceedings.  Whilst also achieving successful outcomes for clients during the course of Trust of Land proceedings (The Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996) when an agreement cannot be reached.

• Achieved successful outcomes during contested injunction proceedings either issued by the client or when instructed to defend the same.
